Welcome to Camp Passport: A Summer of Adventure!
In partnership with the YMCA and Gering Public Schools, we’re excited to bring back Camp Passport: Your Ticket to Summer Fun! Pack your bags for 11 weeks of adventure-filled programming designed just for Gering students!
May 29-August 6th | 7:30am to 5:30pm, M-F | Lincoln Elementary – 1725 13th Street, Gering
No Camp July 4th in observance of Independence Day.
HOW TO REGISTER?
Download the 2025 Summer Day Camp Registration.
Before April 30: Return to Gering Public Schools Administration Office or any Gering Elementary School. (You will still be required to stop into the YMCA to pay the $10 Activity Fee(s) after May 1.)
After May 3: Return to the YMCA Welcome Desk.
Once the registration has been turned into the YMCA, you will receive instructions to finish the registration process online. For online registration, you will need these Program Liability Waivers.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Gering students PreK-5th (based on grade going into Fall 2025)
IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Yes, transportation is available to and from camp for residents in the Gering school district, simply check the transportation request box on the registration form.
MEALS PROVIDED?
Yes, campers in attendance will be served breakfast, lunch, and a morning and afternoon snack as a part of the camp experience. Please be sure to note any food allergies on the online registration form.
COST?
- $175/week (save $20 with sibling discount)
- $10/week non-refundable Activity Fee.
DHHS subsidy is accepted. Must have DHHS paperwork at time of registration.

Limited full & partial scholarships are available, please simply check the scholarship request box on the registration form. Scholarship requests must be turned in before April 30. They will be reviewed May 1, and families will be notified of status May 2.
DO I NEED TO ATTEND ALL WEEKS OR CAN I SELECT SPECIFIC WEEKS?
Families can select just specific weeks or the full camp experience, simply note your preference on the registration form.
WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE DOING?
Your child will have a wonderfully comprehensive slate of experiences ranging from field trips to crafts, games, summer reading program, swimming and MUCH MORE! Each week has a fun theme!
