Fitness Classes

Fitness Training Classes are one of our core services to our members. The Scottsbluff Family YMCA offers a range of fitness programs for people of all ages and abilities, from children to teenagers to senior citizens. We offer our group exercise classes as well as one on one training with a certified YMCA trainer if you so desire.

Tabata Interval Training

Need a change of pace?  Looking to lose weight in a fast and healthy way?  Give Tabata a try!  Tabata is an interval training class, cycling through 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, which is repeated without pause for eight cycles.

Silver Sneakers

Silver Sneakers Muscular Strength & Range of Movement is a multi-level, total body conditioning class. Participants will use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, a Silver Sneakers play ball and a chair for standing and/or seated support.
